Imagine having the perfect sales pitch, every single
time you present it. Completely rehearsed with the combined knowledge
and experience from the best of your sales staff. Stress the points
that work, eliminate the ones that don't. Repeat with the same
excitement and intensity without ever getting discouraged. That's
a sales video.
Baughan Productions has been involved with many
sales videos. The first one took a million dollar a year sales
product and helped boost it to a billion dollar product. (Rubberized
roll-roofing systems that replaced tar and gravel flat roofs)
A sales video should be only 5 - 8 minutes long
and ideally it has to feel shorter.
Consider outlining your presentation in a problem/ solution/ additional
benefit format.
Also consider that unsolicited testimonials are considered 3 times
more effective than what an announcer says.
State your goal. Is the video just a warm up to
get the viewer to contact a sales person, The total sale? A combination
sales/ image video?
Baughan Productions made its own sales video for
a new invention called "Levelcam":
