Documentaries are where Baughan Productions excels. Research, interviews and even a patented invention for getting shots quickly, discretely and smoothly with compact camcorders. The invention is the "Levelcam" system, that was developed so a one man crew could do the work of three. Tim Nixon demonstrates "Levelcam" in this picture:

Our latest documentary called "Heros of the Slopes" was shot and edited over two seasons for One Track Productions. It was entirely shot using a Sony PDX-10 DV camcorder and wireless mics mounted to “Levelcam”. Extreme locations and weather conditions did not halt or slow production because of the use of this portable camera stabilizer. Many of the disabled atheletes thanked us for never having them wait for a shot, mostly because there was little set-up time and partly because Tim Nixon could ski anything that they could.
